I was solving a simple practical problem: how to log my workouts and keep track of them. I kept losing notebooks, and spreadsheets were too clunky. I threw Krantzpower together in about twenty minutes, it has served me for a few weeks now, and it turns out to be a nice extra nudge to actually go and train.
You can add your own exercises, it runs entirely locally, and apart from recording what you did and working out how many kilos you hauled, it really does nothing else. But if you have ever wrestled with this problem yourself: good luck, and enjoy the legendary strength of the House of Krantz.
A few practical notes:
- Open the link on your phone and add the page to your home screen; it then works even without signal in the gym.
- Your data stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere. So download a backup now and then (Progress → Backup); the same place lets you load it back, say on a new phone.
- After each workout you learn how many kilos you moved and how many Rosenkrantzes that is. Rosenkrantz weighs 6.5 kg and has opinions about your performance.
